How to use "Magic Socks" (aka Cold Wet Socks)
as Medicine
The magic sock treatment (also known as cold wet socks or warming socks) is a traditional naturopathic hydrotherapy technique that can help with a variety of complaints including headaches (even migraines), insomnia, fever, cough, and upper airway congestion from upper respiratory infections like the common cold!
This technique is also very inexpensive––all you need is socks and water! You'll need a pair of wool socks, a pair of cotton socks, and access to both hot and cold water. That's it!
Even better, magic socks are safe for people of all ages, and it works especially well on kids! Some kids have even been known to ask their parents for their magic socks when they aren't feeling well!
This treatment can technically be done at any time but is typically done at bedtime. It usually improves quality of sleep!
